These terms apply between you and Purple-Galaxy (Julien DE MARCHI EI, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France) when you play Stellar Frontier. By installing or playing the game, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

The game

Stellar Frontier is a free-to-play tactical space game for Android and iOS. It is still being developed: features, balance and content may change, and parts of the game may be added, modified or removed.

Your licence to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play the game on your own devices, for your private, non-commercial use. The game, its code, artwork, music, texts and trademarks remain the property of Purple-Galaxy or its licensors.

You must not copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the game, except where the law expressly allows it, and you must not use it to build a competing product.

Your account

  • You can play as a guest, or link a Google Play Games, Google, Facebook or Apple account to keep your progress across devices.
  • A guest account can only be recovered from the device where it was created. If you uninstall the game, clear its data or lose your device before linking a sign-in method, your progress may be lost.
  • You are responsible for the security of the accounts you use to sign in.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time: see Delete your account.

Virtual currencies and items

The game uses virtual currencies (Credits, Crystal and ProtoData) and virtual items such as ships and station upgrades. They:

  • are a licence to use content inside the game, not property you own;
  • have no real-money value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred or sold to anyone;
  • may be adjusted when we rebalance the game or fix an error (for example a bug that granted currency by mistake).

The game currently offers no purchases with real money. If purchases are added, these terms will be updated first, and payments will be processed by Google Play or the App Store under their own terms.

Fair play and conduct

You agree not to:

  • cheat, use bots, modified clients or any tool that gives an unfair advantage;
  • exploit bugs deliberately, or fail to report a bug you found that affects the game economy;
  • interfere with the game's servers or other players' access to them;
  • choose a player name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading (for example impersonating Purple-Galaxy) or that infringes someone else's rights.

We may rename an inappropriate player name, reset progress obtained by cheating or by exploiting a bug, or suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules. Except in urgent cases, we will tell you why by email if we have your address.

Age and minors

Stellar Frontier is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are a minor, ask a parent or legal guardian to read these terms with you. Parents can contact us about their child's account at [email protected].

Availability

We do our best to keep the game's online services available, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, outages of our providers or events beyond our control may make the game temporarily unavailable. We may also decide to stop operating the game; if so, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance.

Liability

The game is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content. To the extent the law allows, Purple-Galaxy is not liable for indirect damage, or for loss of progress or virtual items that is not caused by our fault.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you in the game or on this website before it applies. If you keep playing afterwards, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected]: most issues are solved that way. If we can't agree, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or bring the dispute before the competent courts. Consumers in the EU keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
